In the Anglican church, “communicating” means “taking Communion”, i.e. bread and wine. Who knew?
I discovered something new today – apparently there is supposed to be one gospel candle and one epistle candle, and the gospel candle must be on the left, and the gospel candle must be lit first … if indeed it lights at all.
The conference centre had lovely free tea, coffee and hot chocolate, but working out exactly where to put the mug was something of a challenge.
