On 31 January this year we allegedly had a “super blue blood moon”, a very rare event. Except that a supermoon is only fractionally bigger than a normal one, a blue moon just means the second full moon in a calendar month, and the blood moon (aka a total lunar eclipse) wasn’t visible in the UK. Ah well.
